The Chief of Police is Jeff Johnson

Chief Johnson was born in Kansas but moved to Duncan as a child. He graduated from Duncan High School in 1973. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in sociology from Oklahoma State University in 1977, and went to work as a case manager for the Department of Corrections in Oklahoma City the same year. In 1979 he went to work as a Police Officer for the Oklahoma City Police Department, and was selected as one of the first Field Training Officers for that department. Johnson decided to return home in 1984 and began his career with the Duncan Police Department where he worked as a patrol officer for four years before being promoted to Commander of the newly established Field Training and Evaluation Program. He was appointed to the position of Captain in 1995 as the Patrol Division Commander where he has also performed duties of Assistant Chief and Acting Chief on several occasions. Johnson holds an Advanced Law Enforcement Certificate through C.L.E.E.T. and is also an FBI National Academy graduate of the 174th Session.
The Assistant Chief of Police is Rick Lang
Lang began his law enforcement career with the Duncan Police Department in August of 1991. Rising through the ranks, he now holds the position of Major. Lang is also a FBI NA graduate of the 206th Session.
